We started !

We started the field works of the project. During the week, we came together with children for birdwatching and visited the locations that the raptor intensity is high.

We visited the Keskin Dam with children from Sakin Okul’s workshops. Despite the cold and rainy weather, we observed Spoonbill, Ruddy Shelduck, Great Cormorant, Great Crested Grebe, Yellow Wagtail, Little Ringed Plover, Barn Swallow and Common Swift. Also, we witnessed the migration of hundreds of White Stork.

In search of raptors, we visited the locations that we had experienced from previous observations. Imperial Eagle (Aquila heliaca), a couple of Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) and Long-legged Buzard (Buteo rufinus) were the outstanding species.
