Tora Benzeyen

Project Coordinator

A passioned wildlife artist and bird researcher. He greatly enjoys observing birds, watching their behaviour and their relationship with each other and their environment. He reflects his observations to paper directly from the observation or illustrates them in his studio. Within the scope of the “Raptors Conservation Action”, he has been working with Onur’s companion since 2017 to determine threats to raptors, develop conservation measures and raise awareness.

In his professional works, he focuses on communication and advocacy work on climate change and nature conservation and strives to make positive contributions to the future of our planet.

Onur Okur

Project Coordinator

He is a veterinary surgeon working on wildlife medicine. He has been involved in the treatment and rehabilitation of many injured, orphaned and helpless wild animals. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Ankara University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Surgery with his studies on orthopedic and traumatological problems of wild animals. He is currently continuing her postgraduate education at Çankırı Karatekin University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Veterinary Parasitology and conducting studies on parasites of wild animals.

In addition to his academic studies, he conducts research on raptors with the “Raptors Conservation Action”, which he started with Tora in 2017, and works on wildlife and medicine by developing various TÜBİTAK and BAP projects.
